End of the First 90 days

Well it is the end of the first 90 days and I learned a lot and have my next 90 day list written. So what did I accomplish and what did I learn?

1. It was a LARGE to do list as well as a goal list.
2. I found myself checking the list daily to see what I could check off
3. There were many things I MADE happen & may have not completed w/o the list.
4. By making the list, I found out what is really important to me.
5. I found out that most of my goals center around my family & friends.
6. I found it hard to FOCUS on my top goal. Sometimes easier to do another goal.
7. I was glad I accomplished things that can never be "un-done".
8. I let go of my perfectionism to be discouraged by not accomplishing all 90.
9. I ACCOMPLISHED 34 out of the 90!!!!
10.I want to continue to do this so that I always have goals & things to accomplish.

Here is my old and new list and I have taken pictures of myself again for my weight loss and toning goals. This time I took the picture with the pair of size 8 pants I was wearing prior to my hysterectomy. I choose not to post those. but here is a picture of me...hopefully I can lose a little weight in my face. :)

#64-See Whitni & Jess Married in the Temple

This was one of my favorite things I wanted to witness while doing my 90 day boot camp. It was an amazing day! Words can't express my joy! Words can't express the day and my experiences.

McKinli & Brian's Wedding - #88

I wanted to see McKinli become a little more settled in either schooling or a great job and she chose marriage. I think that she was able to have her "dream" wedding and I can tell that she is deeply in love with Brian. It was a wonderful wedding. However, I didn't have a part in that success but I was happy to see that it all went so well.

Nails for the Wedding-#13

I listed on my 90 day list that I wanted to have my nails done. It is an expense that I don't want to incur right now but Whitni and Jess gave me a gift certificate to have them done for McKinli's wedding and then they will also look nice for Whitni and Jess' sealing. Nothing makes you feel finished and more feminine than longer, manicured nails. I luxury for me!!

Acts of Service-#67

I listed that I wanted to complete two small acts of service during this 90 days. I don't know if I would have volunteered if I had not made this goal for myself and been reminded. That is so sad. I have now decided to set "service" goals on a monthly basis so that I can always make the time. It was such a REWARDING time. The first opportunity came when a sister in the ward asked for volunteers to serve the missionaries for a zone conference in our stake building. It really didn't take much time but there was an amazing spirit while serving. The second opporutnity came while I was sooo busy with wedding stuff and trying to find employment. The RS asked if I would take a few hours to interview one of the widow sisters in our ward. It was so rewarding and I feel I have a friend for life. She had much wisdom to share it and it was truly the best two hours of my week. Love you Margie!

Trip to Bear Lake-#35

I wanted to spend a few days in Bear Lake again with my family and we were fortuante enough to be able to. My hairdresser and friend Annette has a place in Bear Lake which she let us use last year. I didn't expect for her to offer it to us again but she did. This year McKinli and Titan joined us, Pebbles is no longer with us but Okey came. Grandpa Taylor passed away a few days after we went last year and so this year Grandma Taylor came with us and Aunt Shan and her dog Tanner came up with us for a few days. It was a great time and we had some yummy chocolate covered raspberries! Yummy!

Massage with Leah-#32

I need to be more specific the next time I do this 90 day stuff. I wanted a massage and you have to be careful what you ask for. My chiropractor suggested I get a deep tissue massage from Leah to help my treatment for my back. I have had a massage before and she is great at what she does. However, I was hoping for a RELAXING massage when I made the list but next time I will be MORE specific.

Family Disaster Plan-#7

After completing the CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team)classes here in Riverdale with my best buddy Sherrie Fazzio, I have made a disaster plan for my family and am gearing up to update my 72 hour kits. We did a mock disaster plan which really helped me to pre-plan what I might do in an emergency. We had a ton of fun doing it as well.

Arbonne Reunion-#76

I wanted to get together with some of my fun Arbonne friends. Again, ask and you shall receive. That is how the law of attraction works. I asked and a few weeks later I receive an email from my sales manager and great friend Elaine, inviting me to an Arbonnette Reunion. I did not see ALL of those I would have loved to see but now we will try to do this months and whoever can come with come. Here are a couple of pictures. We all even color coordinated our wardrobes without planning it! Great food, great friends!

Lagoon w/Landon and Darin and Ingrid-#28

I wanted to have a lunch date or dinner with Darin and his wife. I had to opportunity to go to Lagoon with both and also with Landon. It was a fun time and I was able to ride one of the newer rides and fell in love with Wicked. Great time.

Long Visit w/Greg Clarke-#31

I have wanted to see Greg and his wife Amy and they only live in Mt. Green but for some reason we just never get it on our schedules. I wrote down that I wanted to do something with the two of them and just happen to run into Greg at the new library in South Ogden. We had a nice long visit and it was good to catch up with him. I am counting this as a lunch!

Lunch w/ Marcie #26

I have wanted to have lunch with each of my friends. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I will post a picture of the two of us another time. What I love about Marcie is that we have been through VERY similar situations in life and yet we can laugh OR cry until we pee our pants. Literally. I met her while working at UCC and we have helped each other through the rough days. We have so many "stories" of good times.

72 Hour Kits Near Completion- #8

Well, I have been working on these for a few days a little here and there. They are now completed with just a few things I will add over the next few weeks. We even completed a kit for Baby Titan! I feel much more prepared.

Baby Showers and More

Took some time the last week or so to do some fun gifts for a couple of friends in our ward. Last week it was Laura Kennedy's baby shower and so I gave her some handmade thank you cards, stamps, pen and onesies with a card that read "We want to be the 'onesies' to say congratulations!"

Then today I attempted to copy a gift that my neice Lacey made for McKinli's baby gift. Her's was darling with a large bath towel but mine didn't turn out as well so I made this one with 4 receiving blankets, four burp cloths, two outfits and a couple pair of socks. I just have to do something out of the norm!
